50g(0.3mol) of diethanol DL-glyceraldehyde and 500 ml0.1mol/L sulfuric acid were mixed and placed at 20 ℃ for 7d. After adding 30ml of glacial acetic acid, neutralize with barium hydroxide solution, add 5g of activated carbon, stir and filter. The filtrate evaporates water under reduced pressure to the end, adds equal volume of absolute ethanol to the residue, filters out the crystals, and dries to obtain 22gDL-glyceraldehyde with 80% yield.
